Leighann Ratton-Howard
Leighann Ratton-Howard is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who provides individual and family counseling to individuals striving to obtain a higher quality of life.
Leighann first became informed of the need for mental health services as she served as Public School teacher in Newport AR. She has worked in a school-based setting and community mental health that has provided services to DCFS, court mandated clients, federal clients and juvenile court.
Leighann graduated from Arkansas State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science and obtained a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in 2017.
Leighann has worked with children, adolescents and adults impacted by mental illness, with depression, anxiety and trauma. She uses best practices and holistic approaches for clients to achieve and maintain a better quality of life. Leighann believes in a client centered approach, first and foremost, believes in the quality of a therapeutic relationship and desires for her clients to fulfill their potential and become the best that they can be, by respecting and encouraging individuals through all stages of life.
Leighann, in her spare time, loves to scrapbook, play golf, and spend quality time with her family.
